COMMENTS: less is better than too much

Having many comments helps a video rank higher, but DON'T OVER DO IT!! 

THE IMPORTANCE OF ADS 

Watching ads has two positive effects. It makes sure that your view is counted and also gives the channel's owner some extra money. 

Note: Especially remember this for Lisa's own YT account!! Lisa will get all the money not YG!!

So DON'T SKIP THEM!!

Note: If you get an ad with a duration longer than 2 minutes ( example:  3 minutes, 4 minutes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 20 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour) then you can skip AFTER 1 MINUTE,

BUT ADS UNDER 2 MINUTES (example: 1 minute, 2 minutes, minutes) YOU SHOULD NOT SKIP !!!!

HOW LONG MUST YOU WATCH? 

Watch time is one of the main factors that makes a video succeed. 

WAITING TO REWATCH

It seems YT ALWAYS counts repeat views on MV's if there is a gap time of 5 - 30min between them. 

You can switch the gap time from 10- 30 minutes.
For example: 
After the 1st watch you will have a 10 minute gap while watching other videos, then on the 2nd rewatch you will have 15 minutes, then on the next a 10 minutes again, after an hour you can have a 30 minutes gap and switch in the meantime to another streaming service. etc. etc. 
The more you switch it up the better.

While you wait to rewatch, play other videos, that engagement will help with performance and keep the algorithm from seeing you as a bot.

If you can't wait that long use different accounts ( But there are things you need to keep in mind as well but I will come to this later again). 

MESSING WITH THE VIDEO

DON'T skip forward and don't use repeat at the end, but it's fine if you pause or rewind some parts. 

According to YT going back actually helps with ranking because it tells them that the video has some content worth re-watching.

So replay Lisa parts as much as you want ;3 

Also never close YT with a BLACKPINK or LISA video open, this will hurt it's performance (click on another video first then leave).

VOLUME & QUALITY

The volume should be OVER 50% and the QUALITY should be at least 480p,  if possible HD: 

YT's logic is that the viewers would want to be comfortable while watching. (this makes sure that YT sees us a human) 

Also watch sometimes or in between with FULLSCREEN  if possible!! (Because if you have fullscreen you can't do anything else and so YT will know that you are actually watching the video)

Views are still counted even if you don't use HD etc but following this rules gives you a higher chance that your views are counted. 

AVOID PLAYLISTS

YOUTUBE recently revealed that they count only the first views of a PLAYLIST however often you repeat it or stream the PLAYLIST. The views will also be added only 1 day after.  

So please DON'T USE THEM AT ALL  !!! 

MULTIPLE TABS x DIFFERENT BROWSERS

Don't stream on multiple windows/tabs if you are using just one browser, those extra tabs won't help us getting more views but make you seem like a bot. 

Instead, stream on different browsers on your computer ( Chrome, Firefox,Edge, Opera, Internet explorer, ...) using a different YT account for each one.

But remember, only one YT account per browser will add more views!!! 

HOW TO LEAVE A LIKE CORRECTLY

Most likely you read the titel and think liking is easy just click on the thumbs up. 

BUT there is also something to pay attention to so the likes won't get deleted. 

Yeah you heard right YT deletes likes too if they think they are from bots. 

BEFORE you LIKE a MV you NEED TO WATCH  at least the FIRST 30-60 seconds of it. 

BEST: Watch the MV until the end and then leave a like. 

This prevents them from getting deleted AND also helps the performance of the video, because it signals YT that the video has such good content that people even leave a like.

(Like remember KTL ? YT deleted 2M likes in the first 24h because it thought it were bots...Tragic.)

THE IMPORTANCE OF WATCH TIME

As I mentioned before WATCH TIME is really important and I want to explain you again how important it is and why YT now values it very high.

."In the past, views drove a video's discovery and rank: that's the total number of times anyone clicked "play" on a video.

But views only show the number of times a video player loaded, and not whether someone actually wanted to see it, or bothered watching. YouTube recognized that not all views were equal, and adjusted their ranking algorithm to better account for user engagement."

YT now values the WATCH TIME higher than any time before.

That's  why they adjusted the views count to actually fit the engagement and watch time. 

Which means the more you engage with a video and the longer you watch a video, the higher the possibility that your views are counted and that the ranking and overall performance of the video increases. 

SO AGAIN WATCH UNTIL THE VERY END AND REWIND SOME PARTS HERE AND THERE!!! 

STREAMING WITH MINI PLAYER ??

Watching a video with the option of MINI PLAYER (a small window opens with the video and continues to play while you scroll through YT) . makes only the first view count and the others will be deleted. 


So NEVER USE THE MINI PLAYER OPTION while streaming. 

STREAMING WITH SPLIT-SCREEN ???

Most people use the split-screen option while tweeting on Twitter.

YouTube clarified that this is one of the cause real views get seen as a bot and get deleted. 

So if you want to tweet or do something in between streaming, take a short break from streaming, do what you wanted to do and then later continue to stream again. 

NEVER stream with the split-screen option. 

USE DIFFERENT DEVICES TO STREAM

Stream with as many different devices you can. Each device has a different IP and therefore counts like different people. 

DON'T use the same YT account for every device. 

INSTEAD USE DIFFERENT YT ACCOUNTS FOR EACH ONE !!!

YT can be used by many devices. 

- Handy
- Computer
- Switch (*) (you just have to download the YT app, If you have problems with the set up message @slays_world on Twitter or comment here on the site, I will help you with it)
- PS4
- Laptop
- Tablet 

And many more. 

(*) If you stream on the SWITCH make sure you TURN OFF the AUTOPLAY. Just go to the SETTINGS and then on AUTOPLAY and click on "AUTOPLAY: OFF" 

IMPORTANCE OF THE YOUTUBE PREMIERE COUNTDOWN

Normally BP would do a countdown on Vlive and YouTube.
Most people are always watching on Vlive because the translations are faster BUT to be able to break records and to not make YT freeze the video for hours at the beginning, it would be much better to watch the countdown at least 10-15 minutes before ending on YT. 

If many people are present during the YT premiere it will be easier to not freeze the views because YT already has an overview of how many people will watch it the first time. 

In the past YT froze BP videos for 2-3 hours right at the start because of the high traffic from people (around 5M) coming from Vlive suddenly to watch on YT. 

So AGAIN BE PRESENT DURING YT's PREMIERE AT LEAST 10-15 MINUTES BEFORE IT ENDS !!!

YOUTUBE PREMIUM

If you can stream with YouTube premium because that way YouTube will be faster in verifying your views and if you follow the other rules nearly none of your views will get deleted.

You also won't have to watch any ads (which saves time in streaming) + your streams will count more on BILLBOARD (US + GLOBAL) 

DO NOT USE INCOGNITO MODE TO STREAM

With Incognito mode you can surf in private but it is another reason for YT to delete your views so make sure you have turned it off before starting a streaming party. 

DON'T USE NEWLY CREATED ACCOUNTS

Using a newly created account (an account you created 1 day before or during the streaming) will get MOST not all but most of your views deleted because to YT your account could still be a bot.

So if you want to create a new account for streaming, do it at least 1 week before the streaming, watch with the account some different videos, follow some other channels etc. make the account seem normal. 

The only time you can use a newly made account is if it's a PREMIUM account, because when you pay YT knows a human is behind the account.

Your IP - Adress has 2 components your network number (determined by the place where you are accessing the internet. - your wifi network.) and the number of your device (PC, Tablet, Phone) 

If you change locations your IP-Adress will change and if you change devices it will also change.

So, try to use more than one device to watch the video and try to watch it in different places. along the day so you get different addresses:

+ Switch between MOBILE DATA and WIFI/WLAN

USING A VPN TO CHANGE YOUR IP-ADRESS WON'T WORK AND YT WILL SEE YOU AS A MALWARE OR VIRUS !!! .

Make sure your browser VPN (example: OPERA) is also turned off !!

WATCHING OUTSIDE YT

YT like it when people watch their videos outside of their platform. So when you find the MV on other sites, play it there too. 

Watching it ouside of YT will improve the performance of the video and it makes it harder for YT to find your IP - Adress. 

BUT DON'T spam watch it on other sites because after a while YT will figure it out and mark you as a bot, so be careful.

An exception to this are videos with Autoplay, YT only counts external views generated by clicks so, only the videos you have to actively click to watch will add views!! 

SHARING ON FACEBOOK

Unfortunatly FB removed the option to embed videos BUT sharing the videos on Facebook is still a good way to make people notice it and watch it. 

Also Lisa has a big fandom on FB so SHARE IT A LOT !!

SHARING ON BLOGS & FORUMS

Posting the link or embedding the video to a forum or blog or even embedding it to any type of website (even this one I use right now) is highly recommended.

A video widely spread across the web is more likely to appear on YT or GOOGLE recommodations. 

Which means more promotion for Lisa and BP. The blog or forum doesn't even need a large following or audience. .

It also helps with Trending and ranking. 

Under a video YT has it's own sharing buttom make use of it!! 

So share as if your life depends on it and encourage others too, the more the better!! 

But remember:

YouTube will NOT count the views of videos that are embedded in a page and AUTOSTART. 

You can embed videos on other pages as long as the people need to click on play themselves so it starts to play.

An example of AUTOSTART/AUTOPLAY are edits/fancams on Twitter, they play even if you don't click on them and exactly this is blocked by YT

CLEANING BROWSER CACHE/YT HISTORY 

DO NOT DELETE your browser or YT watch history AT ALL !!!
Yt will see it as a BOT behaviour !!
